Artery Twentyten invites audiences and artists alike to embark on an adventure in temporal journey, deeply engaging in the art of performance.  Now in its third consecutive year, Artery Twentyten offers performances by more than 22 artists over a series of four evenings at The Soap Factory. Experiences include Sonar Tag, an actively weaving body, a trance-like state, evolution from primordial sludge, voracious bodies moving, a reenactment of one's life and a Japanese ceremonial procession. The original premise of the event was derived from civic circulatory systems (roads, travel, city planning) and how these can be akin to the structures of the body and natural phenomena. Artery Twentyten continues to draw inspiration from these origins, while providing a collaborative and open opportunity for emerging performance artists to show new work.
